Number of rounds depends on how many enter — auto-adjusted by BracketBot.
Each round has 36 hours to be completed, starting from the time that round's bracket is generated.
The tournament administrator may extend or otherwise adjust a round's deadline where appropriate.
Once your round is complete, the match result and/or relevant match information may be checked through the tournament's API system and updated on the website.
☠️ Match Responsibility & Deadline
Once the bracket has been generated, it is each player's responsibility to check the Bracket page, identify their opponent, contact them, and arrange and complete their match within the stated timeframe.
Both players are responsible for contacting each other. There is no designated player responsible for initiating contact.
Players are responsible for keeping up to date with their match status and checking the website for any updates. Tournament administrators are not responsible for individually notifying players that their match is ready.
Players have 36 hours from the time their round is generated to complete their match.
Players should not leave their match until the final moments of the deadline. Allow sufficient time to contact your opponent, arrange the match, and complete it.
If an opponent does not respond, the player should contact the tournament administrator before the deadline expires and explain the situation. Players may be asked to provide evidence of their attempts to contact their opponent.
Missing the 36-hour deadline does not automatically determine the result of a match. The tournament administrator will consider the circumstances and may award a loss, extend the deadline, or take another appropriate action.
Where both players fail to complete a match within the allotted time, or where there is a dispute regarding responsibility, the tournament administrator's decision is final.
🔫 One Shot Per Round
Each player may take one Russian Roulette shot per round.
Taking multiple shots in the same round is not permitted and may result in the match being treated as invalid or the player being disqualified.
🟢 Ready Status
Players may use the Ready button in the Player Portal to acknowledge that they have seen their matchup and are ready to play.
A player's Ready status may include the time at which they acknowledged the match.
Both players can mark themselves as Ready independently.
Ready status is an acknowledgement of the matchup only. It does not automatically determine responsibility, prove that a player attempted to make contact, or guarantee a particular result in the event of a dispute.
Players remain responsible for contacting their opponent and completing their match within the applicable deadline.
📋 Match Results & Verification
Players must play their assigned opponent and follow the agreed match instructions.
The tournament website may use the API information provided by players to verify player identity and check relevant tournament activity or match information.
Where the website is unable to automatically verify a result, players may be asked to provide relevant match information or evidence to the tournament administrator.
Players should report any issue with a result or match record to the administrator as soon as possible.
🚨 Disputes, No-Shows & Rule Breaking
If there is a dispute, no-show, technical issue, or other problem affecting a match, contact the tournament administrator as soon as possible.
Players should raise issues before the relevant round deadline expires wherever reasonably possible.
Deliberately delaying a match, refusing to cooperate with an opponent, abusing the match system, or otherwise attempting to disrupt the tournament may result in a loss or disqualification.
The tournament administrator may extend a deadline where there is a genuine reason to do so.
The tournament administrator may also award a loss, disqualify a player, or take another appropriate action where circumstances warrant it.
The administrator's decision is final.
👑 Organiser Discretion
The tournament administrator reserves the right to make reasonable decisions regarding disputes, no-shows, deadlines, extensions, disqualifications, technical issues, unusual circumstances, and situations not specifically covered by these rules.
Rules may be clarified or reasonably adjusted where necessary to ensure the tournament can be run fairly and smoothly.
Players are expected to follow the published rules and cooperate with reasonable instructions from the tournament administrator.
By entering Russian RoulEgg, players agree to these rules and accept the tournament administrator's final decision on matters relating to the competition.
