🥚 How many entrants can sign up?
Russian RoulEgg currently runs with 4, 8, or 16 players. A 32-player tournament limit will also be added soon, giving larger factions and community groups more room to play together.
Every player in the chosen roster size gets a proper opening matchup — there are no byes.

Yes. The organiser can currently set the event to 4, 8, or 16 entrants. A 32-player option will also be added soon, making larger faction and community events possible without changing the basic tournament format.
💰 How much does the house keep?
Russian RoulEgg retains 1/16 (6.25%) of the total entry fees collected to help cover the time and costs involved in running and administering the event.
That means 15/16 (93.75%) goes into the tournament prize pool.
For example, an 8-player tournament with a 2 Xan entry fee collects 16 Xan in total: 15 Xan goes to the prize pool and 1 Xan is retained.
The exact fee and prize arrangements for an event are shown on the site before players enter.
🥜 Why are entry fees and prizes paid in Xan rather than Torn cash?
Russian RoulEgg uses Xan (Xanax) for tournament entry fees and prizes rather than Torn cash. The main reason is practical: moving a relatively valuable amount of Torn cash can create an unnecessary mugging risk.
Using Xan keeps the tournament transactions smaller, simpler, and less exposed to that particular risk. The tournament administrator still follows the published event rules and payment instructions.
🧮 Where does the prize-pool calculation come from?
The standard arrangement is that 93.75% of the collected entry fees forms the prize pool, with 6.25%retained for running the event.
If an event uses a different arrangement, that will be stated clearly before players enter.
💬 Can I give feedback or constructive criticism?
Absolutely. Feedback, suggestions, bug reports and constructive criticism are genuinely welcome. The site is a work in progress, and useful feedback helps make the tournament better for everyone.
Players can also send feedback through the Player Portal once logged in.
🛠️ Who actually built Russian RoulEgg?
No tech wizardry degree here. 😂 Russian RoulEgg was put together as a community project by someone who is very much not a tech whizz, but who fancied learning something new and seeing whether a fun idea could become a working tournament site.
Yes, the organiser may make a small amount of passive income from running the events. That is part of being transparent about the 6.25% retained portion.
But making money is not the whole point. From time to time, Russian RoulEgg will also run free-entry events, special events, or tournaments where players have the chance to win considerably more than the usual prize value.
The bigger idea is to give the Torn community something a little different, while learning a new skill and seeing how far the project can be taken. 🥚💥
🤝 Can I donate or sponsor a future event?
Yes! Donations and sponsorship towards future events are welcome. If you would like to help fund a bigger prize pool, a free-entry event, or a special community tournament, please get in touch.
Sponsorship arrangements can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
🏴 Can a faction leader run a closed tournament for their faction?
Yes. Russian RoulEgg is open to the idea of private or faction-only events for leaders who want something organised specifically for their members.
A faction could agree its own entry fee and prize-pool arrangement, with the event set up around the size and format that works for them.
If you are a faction leader interested in arranging a closed event, message the organiser on Torn or Discord and we can discuss what you have in mind.
🧢 Do you accept donations for your hard work on this site?
Donations are welcomed, but absolutely not expected. If you really feel the need to bless me with a shiny gift, I collect bottlecaps. 😂

🎯 Is Russian RoulEgg affiliated with Torn?
No. Russian RoulEgg is an independent, fan-run community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Torn City or its developers.
⏱️ How long do players have to complete a match?
Once a round opens, players have 36 hours to complete their current match. The Player Portal shows a live countdown for the active matchup.
If a match reaches the deadline without being completed, the event administrator may review the situation and take the appropriate tournament action.
🔫 How does the one-shot-per-round rule work?
Each player gets one Russian Roulette shot per round. Taking multiple shots in the same round — for example, two or three shots before the round has ended — is not permitted.
