1. About Russian RoulEgg

Russian RoulEgg is a fan-run, unofficial community tournament organised for players of Torn City.

Russian RoulEgg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Torn City or its developers.

By participating, you acknowledge that Russian RoulEgg is an independent third-party community event.

2. Tournament participation

Participation in Russian RoulEgg is voluntary. By registering, you agree to follow the tournament rules and these terms.

The event administrator may make reasonable decisions regarding tournament administration, including roster management, match verification, bracket progression, result corrections, and tournament scheduling.

Russian RoulEgg matches are one-shot-per-round.A player must take only one Russian Roulette shot in each round of their match. Taking multiple shots in the same round (for example, two or three shots before the round has ended) is not permitted and may result in the match being treated as invalid or the player being disqualified.

36-hour match window.Once the bracket is generated for a round and the matchups are published, players have 36 hours to complete their current match. The Player Portal displays the countdown. If a match is not completed before the deadline, the event administrator may review the match and take the appropriate tournament action.

The administrator may remove or disqualify an entry where necessary to protect the fairness or proper operation of the tournament.

3. Torn API connection

Tournament participants are required to provide a Torn API key so that Russian RoulEgg can verify the participant's Torn identity and perform the tournament verification functions described during registration.

The API key is treated as confidential and is encrypted before being stored.

Russian RoulEgg will only use the API connection for the tournament purposes explained to you when the key is provided.

You should create a dedicated API key for Russian RoulEgg and use the minimum permissions necessary where possible.

You must not provide Russian RoulEgg with your Torn password. Russian RoulEgg only requires an authorised Torn API key.

4. API security

Russian RoulEgg will take reasonable measures to protect stored API credentials from unauthorised access.

Your API key must not be publicly displayed, published, or intentionally disclosed to other players.

You remain responsible for the security of your Torn account and for creating, managing, and revoking your own Torn API keys.

If you believe your API key has been exposed or compromised, revoke it through Torn and contact the Russian RoulEgg administrator.

5. Tournament verification

Russian RoulEgg may use authorised Torn API information to verify tournament participation, Russian Roulette match results, player identity, tournament statistics, and bracket progression.

Tournament results may be recorded against your public Torn in-game name and ID and may appear in tournament statistics, match history, brackets, or archives.

6. Entry fees, bets and prizes

Any entry fees, bets, prizes, or other in-game transactions associated with the tournament are conducted within Torn City between the relevant players and/or event administrator.

Russian RoulEgg itself does not process, hold, or transmit real-world currency.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their own in-game transactions comply with Torn's rules.

7. Tournament decisions

The event administrator may correct results, amend brackets, remove invalid entries, reset tournament data where necessary, or make other reasonable administrative decisions to maintain a fair and functioning event.

Where an automated result cannot be verified, additional manual verification may be required.

8. Player responsibility

Participants are responsible for providing accurate Torn in-game information and for ensuring that the API key they provide belongs to their own Torn account.

Attempts to impersonate another player, provide another person's API credentials, manipulate tournament results, or otherwise interfere with the operation of Russian RoulEgg may result in disqualification.

9. Torn City rules

Participants remain responsible for complying with Torn City's rules, terms, API requirements, and other applicable restrictions.

Russian RoulEgg does not authorise participants to break Torn's rules or misuse Torn's API.

If Torn changes its API requirements or rules in a way that affects Russian RoulEgg, the tournament administrator may change or suspend affected features where necessary.

10. Privacy

Information about how Russian RoulEgg collects, stores, uses, and protects participant information is explained in the Russian RoulEgg Privacy Policy.

By registering, you acknowledge that you have been given access to this information before completing your registration.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when tournament features, procedures, or external requirements change.

Where an update materially changes the way a participant's information or Torn API connection is used, participants will be given appropriate notice before the new processing is introduced where reasonably practicable.

12. Acceptance

By completing registration for Russian RoulEgg, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to abide by them.

You also acknowledge that your Torn API connection will be used for the tournament verification purposes explained during registration.
